What are the requirements for renting a car in Bariloche?
To rent a car in Bariloche with Andares Rent a Car you need:

The driver’s license must be issued in the same country as the identity document presented. The rental holder is responsible for the reservation and the credit card guarantee.
What type of insurance is included in the vehicle rental?
Your car rental includes mandatory third-party liability coverage, up to the limits established by law.
In addition, each vehicle has coverage with a deductible for damage to your own vehicle.
This means that, in the event of a claim, the client will be responsible for the costs up to the deductible amount stipulated in the contract.
Important to keep in mind:

Only in the case of theft or robbery will the glass and locks be covered, and only upon presentation of a police report.

How do franchises work in car rental?

This amount is detailed in the contract and is guaranteed by the credit card presented at the time of rental. This way, you know your level of responsibility from the beginning and avoid surprises when returning the car.

- If the vehicle damage is less than the deductible amount, the customer must cover it in full.

Can I drive the rental vehicle outside of Bariloche, or are there any restrictions on where I can drive it?
Yes, by renting your car from Andares you can explore not only the city, but also nearby destinations such as Villa La Angostura, San Martín de los Andes, Villa Traful, El Bolsón, Lago Puelo, Esquel, and Trevelin.
However, there are some important restrictions:

Two-wheel drive vehicles: their use is limited to Bariloche and nearby destinations.

Route 40 south of Trevelin or Chilean Carretera Austral: only 4×4 vehicles are allowed.

It is prohibited to drive on trails, tracks, beaches, access points to rivers, lakes, streams and/or mountains.
If driving in prohibited areas is detected, the corresponding fine will be applied.
